In the 1880s, an evil man, the Marquis de Rays, perpetrated what will possibly go down in history the most ruthless and tragic land swindles in history by sending over 600 people to a mythical colony at Port Breton, New Ireland. Many died and most suffered terribly. Half a lifetime has gone into researching this project.
